Glacier are really good batteries, wish I could get them.

Loving my CTB, this thing is like a flying Tonka truck.
Seconded on the battery choice. However, my CY has stolen the Nanotechs so I now fly the CTB on some 850mAh Zippy Compacts for an easy 7 mins per flight. They are behind the screen so I could pop some velcro on the 460s and use them in it but it seems fine with the bit of extra weight.

On top of that, I find it very difficult to fly certain manoeuvres with the CTB so I just tend to throw it round the place so duration is more important than weight to me. I use the CTB and 39" Sbach to practice my (appalling) aerobatics.

Does anyone have a spm file for a DX6 with the mixes for spoileron/flaperon set up already?
I'm not very good at setting up mixes in the DX6 yet. It may be time to learn.

Fun trip to the field today with the Beav. First time this year. I got it to flat spin upright and hold altitude, but not so inverted. Will need some practice and experimenting there. Harrier landings were also fun when I remember to counter wing rock with rudder

Explain what you mean about counter wing rock with rudder.
This has some crazy tendencies compared to my MXS-C. It takes a couple packs each time I get it out to get used to how much rudder/elevator/aileron it takes to get it to turn. LOTS of rudder.

I flip up the spoilers, no more high-alpha wing rock.

I am in nose high forward flight, travelling slow, and the wings are dipping from side to side, probably because they are trying to stall........well, I can mostly stop that by also wagging the rudder from side to side, just enough opposite, not too much, to counter act.

And yes, you most definately need to add in rudder to turn this thing.

Thanks, for reminding me, I've got spoilers porgrammed and have yet to try them; I had some much fun doing things manually!

This plane will train your left thumb to work the rudder.

Well, I now have the SunnySky Motor with a 8x4SF and 3S 850mAh Zippys.
It has much power but the fight-time is on abaout 4-5min.
What props do you guys use if you are flying the SunnySky and using 460mAh Lipos?

Is there a trick?

I set my timer for 5 minutes. Usually after 5 minutes I need to regroup. It packs a lot of performance into a short window.

On the CTB with 850mAh 3S, T Motor 2206 and an 8x4.5 SF prop, I have a 7 minute throttle activated timer to land at 20%.
