First off it does have exponential.
it can hold up to ten model setting and can only use up to 4 letter or number for the model name.
The first five are taking (I am guessing what the name mean for each model, if I am wrong please correct me.

1. HFP = HFP100 and/or HFP80
2. F100 = HCP100
3. FB80 = HCP80
4. 100S = HCP100S
5. 80V2 = HCP80V2

I haven't had a change to try it on my HCP100 as I need to replace the tail boom on it I am hoping I will get a chance sometime next week to fly and it will do better than the FS-T6 and HT8.
H-6 Masterace.
H-6 allows 6 letters and numbers. Can you rename your models?

Ether HFP80/100/v2 model depending on how you fly, and of course the notorious v977.

Thanks.
Thanks for your answer!

If i understand you right, i have to wait ordering a hcp80 V2 because it has the old board, right?

Which one performs better? v977 or HCP100s

I can't confirm that the BNF or RTF kits have revised receiver boards.
I moved from the V911 to the HFP80 v1 and that set me up for cp (mastered forward flight, working on backwards). The v2 6axis auto levels and the v1 simply doesn't allow for an angle of attack of more than 90 degrees.
I would go with the v1.

I have nether, but the HCP100S is a double brushless 2s cray cray beast. The v977 is a 1s main brushless 'trainer'.

Take your pick in relation to your experience.

Define "better".

V977 and HCP100S are two completely different animal. V977 is a pussy cat and HCP100S is a cheetah. It depends on what you're after. Do you want an easy-to-handle cat, or a high-speed cheetah?

Devo 7e is super nice also. I actually enjoy HCP80v2 6-axis mode living room cruising now that Deviation supports it

How far are you on the way to getting a new receiver board?
I am lementing not having bought the Devo 7e in the first place. H-6 will be easier I said. When I get familiar then I can move up. (figured everything out myself in 1 hour.)
sigh....

I mean, the X6-S might look cooler, but so far people could not get their X6-S's to work with sims. However I could get mine to work on the H-6.
Although that PC Crabbed itself on the day I was trying to get info for hellysmack.

I'm sure there are other small differences, I would go for the H-6 (unless you despise smaller transmitters.) E2

Do not be too sure it is a waste. I think it might have better gimbals than the H-6.

I have just received an email saying "order processing" for a new rx board. Yay

Regarding the tx: One has to try out stuff although it costs money. And you will always have a backup if you get something better
