After a few weeks working on 3DMax, i finished my modifications

1- Add landing gear spaces
2- Re-scale from 70mm to 90mm EDFs
3- Add lipo plataform and rescale structure for larger lipo capacity.
4- Add structure for air intake duct
5- Improved vector thrust mechanism

Looks good. Will be watching as I am in the process of building one myself. Twin 90mm EDF F-22. One thing I will be watching on yours is the location you have your EDF units and how your COG works out. Can I ask how you figured out that location? I have my fan units further back so the front leading edge of the fan units are sitting at the leading edge of the verticals. My experience working on smaller F-22's provided me with the knowledge of fan placement location in order to fit the battery just behind the cockpit area and just in front of where the two ducts come in toward the center of fuse. This worked out good for my COG and I did not need to add any weight. So I am applying the same locations for my larger project. The concern I have on my build is, will the ducting be to long of air travel to the EDF units. I will need to post my build log so we can watch each others.

Already started building and have everything electrical. Using combination of foam and wood structure. Hot wire foam bulks and cut several wood bulks.
My specs:
76" length
55" WS
90mm 1950kv 6 blade metal lander units
Will be using two 6s 5000mah packs

The position of both edfs are based on weights of EDFs, Lipos, Escs and the F-22 geometry. The large duct length are not a problem, since i tested large ducts lengths in others projects (Mirage 2000 120mm edf, Habu 120mm edf) and is not a issue, at least in large and powerfull setups...

humbertomelo, another fine aircraft from the stables of humbertomelo!!

I'm hoping to get a look at the F-22 this weekend, during our Duluth Air and Aviation Expo - 2014 . First time we have had one here for the air show.. While I can't be on site to watch the demo, I should be able to see a great deal of if it just from my yard!

The main headliner --- The Blue Angles.
Lots of other great performers too!!

Subbed.

I enjoyed following Nem3's F22 thread, but it was a bit of a shame that there was only 2 people building his plans, and neither of them have been finished or maidened yet.
