HoverflyGIMBAL and Cinestar gimbal - IT WORKS!

Hoverfly sent me some signal conditioners for my Cinestar gimbal, and now the Hoverfly Gimbal board is working. I've started to tune the settings and have made great progress. I'm planning to use this on a shoot this Saturday. I'll report back here.

Big props to Hoverfly for coming through for me. Top notch customer support as always. 'Nuf said.

Footage will be posted next week...

Nice!

I have been itching to use the new controller. How do we get the parts?

Ok, so I just dumped my AV200 in favor of the Cinestar gimbal. I'll need to contact Hoverfly in order to get the Freefly servos working with the HFGIMBAL?

Signal conditioners?? was considering a cinestar gimbal, but was waiting to see what everyone is using for stabilization, looks like the HFgimbal might be the ticket then, but what are the signal conditioners you mention?

You'll need to contact Hoverfly to get the conditioners. For shampoo, any local drugstore or supermarket will do. Seriously though, don't put shampoo on your Hoverfly board. I'm sure it says that somewhere in the manual.

I think it's time for me to go to bed.

Hi Benjamin,

I'm flying a Cinestar 8 360 and I would like to ask if you can post some photographs of your HoverflyGIMBAL installed onto the copter. I think it would be very helpful to understand how to position it in the right direction and so on.

Actually I'm flying with the independent MK Flightcontrol board but I would like to have something faster and more precise.

Thanks in advance for your kindness and time.

Thanks for that, dont really explain what the conditioners are though, have you some pics youd like to share, or maybe the HF team might chime in with some info on this.!

Ben told me they are working on a fix for the freefly servos, but no release date has been set. Please let us know if they tell you something different!

I was not offered a set of conditioners.

Hi guys,

Just to save you all some disappointment if you call me: I do not have any direct information on the signal conditioners. This is entirely a development-side solution at the moment.

Believe me, the moment this fix is approved for release, I will be here to shout it from the rooftops! That said, if you have an urgent need, please do call or e-mail me (or info@) and I will add you to the waiting list.
