My budget SB5
Well I decided to ahead and get a TT SB5, I pulled $300 from my JABBER budget to fund this temp. bike, then I will keep it as a loaner, like DLAWW did for me. I was able to get a RTR version with $160 to spend on upgrades. I was able to do enough to this bike to satisfy me, and I almost stayed in Budget.
Wheel Hub set Blue 9 ----ebay
Wheel Hub set White (spare) 9 ----ebay
Shock Spring Set 14 ----ebay
GRP REVO 2014 Rear Slick SB5 (A/soft) 34\
GRP REVO 2014 Front Slick SB5 (A/soft) 25\
2x Shock Kit From SB-5 Pro Kit 38 / 2 wheel hobbies
Alleven Rc Roller Bar Set 36 /
165 plus shipping, in addition to the electronics that I have laying around from some 10 scale cars I sold over time as rollers.
I will be able to use a Reedy Sonic 8.5 turn motor, Team Orion Speed Controller, and a Hitec HS-965 MG servo.
I noticed their are three locations for both the front and rear shocks, I would like more info on what the different locations do to affect the overall ride of the bike.
Cant wait to get my parts, hopefully everything gets here by this weekend.

That's great Kev nice to see you going on with the RTR, I can help you up grade it. One thing the RTR side plates don't accommodate the Alleven Roller adapter set. Your going to have to think of a way to adapt the roller set or get the SB5 PRO side plates. I'm sure we can find a solution to get them on the bike any how your on your way to 1/5th scale racing.
