Blade MCX Plane mod
Hi all
 I have a blade MCX but I'm going to turn it into a plane. Since the heli has two motors and two servos, I'm going to try to make it into a mini little plane that is 3 channel. If anyone has attempted to do this with any other helicopter feel free to post your pics here Thanks

I was wondering same but as the blade turns by varying blade speed can this be dissabled and still be able to use both motors in a antirotating manor with the other two channels being rudder or aileron and elevator. I was hoping simply removing gyro would make this possible.

First u have to pop the cover off the gyro. It is the little silver case attached to the brick. Don't remove the whole thing because The brick won't work after. There is a mod somewhere on here for it. just look up how to disable gyro on bmcx. I'm getting readdy to build a micro stagger bee with twin motors. Hope that helps. When I yet to it i will do a pictorial on how to do it if you are still interested.

I'm a bit confused.. Why should we disconnect the gyro? Can you post a vid on how to o so?

If u don't. u will have to mount the brick upright. In turn a lot of weight to add for bellcranks. Let me find the post on how to disable gyro.

Also could I use other motors that have two pins to plug it in the motherboard? And does a brick mean motherboard?

I've run many mCX bricks with the gyro litterally popped off. No need for additional mods or jumpers. See my F-35 thread for details: http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1768778

Cool! What servo pushrods did you use? And for the motors, can you use any motors that have 2 pins?
