build thread I've always wanted one for a while now, already built a nice little profile, also own the E-flite 777, but now its time to build one my way
the build may be a bit slow for the next few days (cleaning up the work shop from past projects) this will be my first true "giant" foamy. I'm planning on mainly constructing of 3 mm depron with 6 in some spaces with solid blocks for the noze and tail section. I'm still debating on EDF size 90mm or 100mm ( I really need help picking them) the empty weight of the airframe should be around 6-10 Lbs so it should be really light. I mainly want realistic airliner performance, NOT whizz around at 100 mph like the E-flite 777. Planning on using retracts too, full nav lights (going to do some midnight flights so they'll be needed) This build should take about a month and a half (going to debut this baby at SEFF )

constuction Methods will be very similar to DemonDrivers techniques, His airliners are Beautiful and I'd be happy if mine looked half as good as one of his!

Thanks Doushiyou12! your JAL MD-11 is looking sweet! It really seems theres an increase in airliner builds lately? who dosent like to pretend to be flying a pressurized aluminum cylinder barreling through the sky at 30,00 ft

I started planning my on 777-200LR made some very simple plans using three views . I can try and dig them up and send them to you if you'd like. They were for 90mm edf's.

Good news is my basement is finally clean and the plans should get started tomorrow.

starting the plans proccess. Spent all day building this little (17 inch long) plastic model of the 777-200. Going to make this thing about 8 ft long well heres some pics anyway, ill finish up the plans tomorrow, I'd better....
