I watched the video of the planes on your new website preview. They're incredible and the best I've seen anywhere. Will we be able to download planes of the same quality from your new site?

Hi Harlan,
Thanks for the kind words. And yes all the planes in the videos are the actual ones that will be available for purchase and download. We will have many planes available both for a small charge and some for free. But all of our planes are extremely detailed and have hundreds of hours of research and build time in them. We also have many more planes in the works.

Regards,
Chris

been meaning to ask...what software program do you design in? I do some 3D modeling/animation and was wondering what worked best?

We Use many different programs for texturing and aerodynamic analysis but the modeling for Reflex can only be done with the RMK that comes with Reflex. Reflex doesn't support importing models from different programs.

Very nice flying, Chris. XTR is the place to exit a spin at one meter! (That's also my favorite XTR field as it is much like our local club field.) As the weather is still yukky here in wet, soggy, windy and cold Oregon; I'm still enjoying your Freedom model. Keep up the good work.

Lots of lift, Glover

Just out of curiosity, Is The W3 Group going to release these models for the other simulators as well or only for Reflex? Now that G3 has the import capability it would be wonderful to see these on other simulators as well.

These models will only work in Reflex and cannot be imported into G3 or AFPD. Reflex uses its own software to build models, G3 I believe only imports models built using 3DS. Sorry.

How do you capture your video from Reflex? Is the transparent covering a hack or is it a feature in Reflex?

Those planes look great! I can't wait to grab them.

When are you releasing a Mojo or Skeeter?

We use some proprietary in-house software for capturing video but Fraps works pretty well. http://www.fraps.com the video is captured right off the screen in game. no hack. The transparency is a built in feature in reflex if you build the model to look that way.
Don't know about those planes yet. we have a pretty long list

I tried the web site, but but my first attempts at logging in failed.

I suspect it is getting confused when I have more than one window
open in the browser at once.

Since then I have managed to buy and download the Katana Mini.
It is a bit early to say, but it looks promising anyway.

I am having trouble with it not accepting my password. I have tried about a dozen different ones and it keeps giving me the "7 digit non-alphanumeric" error. Any idea what the problem is?
