Sam- have you tried your "solution" on an FC yet?

I was hoping that you would buy a spray can of that nanotech stuff to protect your FC's so I would not have to spend my money.

I inherited this great book called the "CIA Munitions Manual" from a client years ago..... It made for interesting reading. I was honored to receive this as a gift from him.

It's too bad that some formerly easy to purchase products are now not so easy to purchase products without signing one's life away.

Alright, I'm back in business, or flying. I was out of electrical tape so I found some other kind of tape, not even sure where it's from but I noticed it left adhesive on when I peeled it off (like Lee was speaking on). I really wanted the piece of tape though to go through with the arm but it would shave off on insertion. Finally I looped the tape on those little cross bars and then inserted arm. Worked out perfectly.

My camera kind of sucks but I'll try take a picture soon and edit the post so others with this problem kind see the solution , or at least one of many.

Flying good though!

Protocols, protocols does anyone know if THIS THING can be plugged into my DX6 (DSM2/DSMX) and bind to the X1 (FlySky)?

J, I wish..
I had to put everything on the back-burner yet again..

Ah, you mentioned a book that sounds like a few that I used to have..

The Anar**ist C**kb**k and the Jo**y Roger Handb**k / C**kb**k

Those books had all sorts of wild and crazy things in them..
The early / mid 90s was a time that I'm honestly amazed that I survived through.

I've wondered the same. I think it will, though.

Wow..
I haven't see that thing in a while..
The protocol that module uses is one called "HiSKY"

I ran across them when the Q-Bot 1st came out..

HP might be able to get Daryoon to answer that question for ya..
D. was following and contributing to that thread for quite a while..

@4_Props, Sam is right - Daryoon knows a lot more than HP

The module you linked is piggy backed on a number of radios with PPM output. Depending on the radio you have, the trainer port uses a different plug. So, it has several plugs to be compatible. It is compatible with your Spektrum DX6.

However, the output is not what you want for X1 (FlySky). It is HiSky like Sam said. It controls the HiSky helicopter FBL100 and the HMX120, which is rebranded by HK as the Q-bot micro. The micro part is important, because HK has 2 rebrands with the Q-bot name. The Q-bot is a V929 rebrand, which is FlySky and very similar to the X1. But the Q-bot micro is a rebrand of an entirely different Quad from a different company all together.

Long story short, the linked module does not output FlySky signal and therefore, would not bridge your wonderful DX6 with the X1.

I'm working on one of these: DIY Multiprotocol TX Module. So far he has 4 or 5 protocols tested and working: Flysky, Hubsan, Frsky-2way, Hisky, and v2x2. I want v2x2 first since I only have flysky or v2x2 quads.
