Powering ESCs and Motors using PSU
A newbie question that will probably save me some money I tried searching for an answer but found mixed suggestions.
I'm building my first mutlirotor and I want to test out all the components, while I wait for the battery and charger to arrive.
I want to test:
Motors: SunnySky X2212 980kv
ESC: Afro ESC 30A
I have a SkyRC Efuel 30A 540W that can output 12v-18v - can I use it for testing?
if I connect the 12v to a power distribution board will it fry my motors?
Thanks in advance!
