Unhooking the string after flying, and then hooking it up before next flying session sounds like alot of work.
Never had a problem in 1 year of leaving them hooked up. |

Yo Carlos, does everything makes sense now? Where are you at, at lunch time this week? Would be nice to at least get her trimed out in all flight modes before Saturday

Red Rock plans
Utah Red Rock F3K Challenge 2013 in St. Geoerge is shaping up! It's still a ways down the road, but coming fast (8 weeks). If you haven't signed up yet, please go post your intentions to attend (HERE). The more pilots on the list, the more appealing it will be for others to sign up.
As always, I need help from the Utah locals to pull this off. Sam P is no longer in St. George to help us, so more effort will be needed this year. Here are the assignments we have so far: - Mike M - Overall planning and coordination, awards, flying site arrangements & field set up, etc. - Jon F - CD, AMA sanction, pilot registration at the field, etc. - Adrian D - Sound system, clocks, and audio track coordinator (AD is the F3KMaster!) STILL NEEDED: 1. Food 2. Drinks, Ice, coolers 3. Portable Restrooms 4. Head scorekeeper (best if not a contestant, maybe Kelsey J will come again?) Please volunteer for one of the above assignments if you are willing/able to help. Nobody has to work alone, just solicit others to assist. None of the assignments are difficult. The food guy picks up breakfast snacks, orders lunches in advance, and makes sure they are delivered to the field on time. Drink guy buys cases of drinks, and ice, and keeps the coolers stocked. We keep our food/drink very simple. All of it can be obtained locally in St. George after arriving, so none of it needs to be transported long distance. Restroom guy will just call and coordinate the porta-potty drop-off and payment. All costs will be immediately reimbursed. Scorekeeper (and assistants) distributes and collects scorecards before/after each round, enters scores into computer, posts results, etc. If we don't fill all assignments by volunteer then I will be asking... Thanks for your help! Mike |
