If easy to learn on is what you want, get an EPP profile foamy. They are slow flying, cheap, and super durable. The slower a plane flies, the easier it is to learn.

VA it is a fantasy airplane, while the QQ Extra 300 it is more of "scale" theme.
The QQ Extra 300 it is what I call the next generation, one step higher. I designed the VA 3-4 years ago. Today there is more experience and new ideas...the end result it is a plane that it is easier to fly, more stable, bigger, more predictable.
Wingspan is 45" for VA, QQ Extra 300 it is 48" for about same weight. Motor is higher KV 1350kv and new designed SR prop 11.5x4.5, it brings extraordinary "bite" at any airspeed. The QQ Extra 300 uses 2200 3s pack. The QQ Extra 300 fuselage it is much wider and offers more space to work and install the battery.
Servos are something we look carefully. Ours Potenza DS19 (19g) are fully metal gear train. During our extensive servo test, it has shown excellent performance and durability. Faster and more torque.
The structure of this airplane includes a new feature that is the engine box. Designed similar way to giant scale aircraft. Using plywood there is an actual motor box that it is connect to the wing tube. This brings great stiffness and strength. As a result the airplane flies more precise and can handle better crashes!
In the air the QQ Extra 300 has much more rudder authority, no coupling and requires no push or very light push flying inverted. The new airfoil and wing geometry brings a lot of lift to the airplane. The stability of the airplane at slow speed it is simple remarkable on my books.
At same time the airplane it is very agile and will execute effortless high speed/aggressive maneuvering. I also enjoy the Extra flying precision aerobatic. It does it extremely well way above any other airplane that I have flown with this class.
Aura 8 included with the airplane brings an incredible precision/performance to the aircraft. Rate gyro highly tuned system. 3 flight modes, 3D, sport flight and gyro off. The flexibility of Aura is extensive. Can be adjusted from PC, or smart phone. Keep in mind it works with most of the major radio brands!.
Price is a good element to consider $239 for our airplane. Very fast to assembly (20 min or so). Two piece wing, two piece stab.
We have two color combination to offer, a lot of spare parts would be in stock as well.
If you guys interested on order one, please consider to do it very soon. We are small company and we are not bringing by thousands !....pre-orders has been active!

Probably most of you know, our Premier Aircraft QQ Extra 300 At SEFF it was voted the Airplane of the year!!.

Parts will be available from Falcon and come together with the product shipment. The part numbers and orders are all set up. Probably just not fully crossed over to the Falcon side at this time... Expect it to be done well before shipment....

Thanks and Best Regards,
David
