Got the new TBS Triumph antennas through today, wow theyre tiny!

They look great, been in the works with IBCrazy for a couple of years, and more importantly theyre cheap! $35 a set. Looking at the specs they're "allround" performers, can't wait to test them.

Figured u guys may like - could be useful on some builds where u need a smaller antenna.

Always been impressed when I've got my hands on TBS stuff, they pay a lot of attention to detail. It's good to see they have kept a reasonable price point as most of their stuff is defiantly premium. Let us know how they go.

Not sure I would trust that driver Andy. I've got some fitted powering some 5W LED's, they got hot...really hot. The pins are meant to be for an MR16 lightbulb fitting (12v AC), usually they are only good for 7W. Might wanna get something a little more manly, possibly adjustable voltage/amperage.

Finally! Video edited and uploaded.

Quick thanks to my ground crew and to Tufty for use of his field (I think I owe you some mud I took away on my boots!)

Project SSBB - Maiden Flight (4 min 36 sec)

So 3 short flights, all ending with the engine shutting down shortly after take off. I think I had the Fuel/Oil mix wrong, but couldn't do anything about it at the field.

I did leave the field a bit disappointed, but looking back I had 3 successful takeoffs and landings, no one died (thanks to my H&S guru), and she's still in one piece, albeit a bit muddier than before!

This is not the end, but the beginning.

To be continued.....
