coming from 5th scale off road cars im use to lugging around many spare parts and tools. with tanks do we need t carry spare parts or hardware. i have the M26 coming and just trying to get an idea what needs to be in the box for it. also has any ever considered converting it all to hex heads?

In the main you don't need to carry a huge selection of spare parts and tools but this would depend on the type of terrain
a good support crew should carry
fine blade screw driver
needle nose pliers
Over time you will accumulate the screws & nuts & bolts to make running repairs

It pretty much has all the special tools that you'll need to assemble the tank. Except for glue.
I like to use Ambroid Cement, Medium Viscosity CA with a spray accelerant and maybe (if needed) a 5 minute epoxy. The grease and lubes for assembly are in the box but I would recommend a good plastic safe oil for oiling the gearbox and it's shafts & bearings.
There should be no need for spare parts. Hope that's the answer you were looking for?
