I'm flying a 10x7 prop on mine and flying 9x1100HE's. As I understand, the HE's behave basically the same as the 600AE's. With the slightly smaller prop, I'm sure you'd have no problems with 10 cells, but don't take that as the last word.

Kirby,
Do you have any battery packs yet? If you happen to have an 8-cell 600ae I'd try that and see what you think. (And goto a 10x7 like Martin said) See if you are happy with that. I think they tend to run a little hotter then then the 8-cell 1100HE's. So while I want to get a 9-cell 1100 pack like Martin, I haven't decided if I'd go more then 8 on the 600ae's. My 8-cell pack can get pretty warm if I fly with much throttle. Where as my 8-1100HE's stay really cool.

Oh, and if you do not have any packs, I would strongly suggest the 1100HE's Either 8 or 9 cell (or 10?)
