First time at controls of RC aircraft.
This is a little off topic, but I think it is neat..
Brad converted an install of MS flightsim to a RC sim, reprogrammed an old
72 transmitter to interface with the program.
We had a RC pilot come by and help with the setup on the planes. He
made the planes the size of RC planes. They show up full size but the
flying size is the same as RC. This one has a 72" wing span and weighs
about six pounds.
I had done cars and boats before, but this was my first time at the controls
of an RC plane.
Note the title.."I never said it was going to be pretty" And I missed the
runway and almost got the ground once. It was set at very low rates
with lots of expo.
I just ran across it in an old HD I was checking..
