Good fortune, there! FYI, thread running on those here: http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1769940

Cowls are relatively expensive. I did a little investigating and discovered the one on the Lx F4U 1200mm from Banana Hobby (Blitz Works..?) can be adapted, is cheaper, and sturdier. Only, a bit heavier.

Does anyone know if this motor will fit the Flyzone Corsair mount?

If it doesn't, what cheaper motors are there that do? The Flyzone replacement motor is $59.99!

I would just look on Hobby King's site for their nearest number to stock, I'm sure they have something close, if not the same output. As for the motor mount, mine nosed in and bent the mount, I just bent it back, and I'm still using it. Needless to say I did get a spare, should the need arise. They're GREAT fliers once you get 'em dialed in, mine's one of my go-to's for the field, and cuts a beautiful figure in the sky...

There are plenty on hobby king that will work, but it depends what you want. Do you want to turn a big scale diameter 3 Blade prop, go fast, or try to keep equivalent stock performance with a 2 blade?

I'm not trying to break a speed record, I just want a motor that will perform well, for a budget price. A warbird should have pretty good power. I don't know how powerful the stock setup was.

I just need to know if the HK motor's mounting holes will line up with the stock mounting holes.
