F-35 Lightning II - Full Fuse Depron Pusher Parkjet
Here in the UK, we are about to see the F-35 for the first time at RAF Farnborough air show 2014, and it got me interested in building my own F-35 in a Steve Shumate full fuselage style.
I really fancied the idea of creating a VTOL version, so I started a thread in the VTOL section of RCgroups :-
However I realised that I needed to walk before I could run, and base my VTOL version on a flyable platform, so I decided that whilst getting to grips with the problems associated with VTOL, I would start the project with a simple pusher.
I'm grateful that there are a few really nice depron f-35 designs out there,....
.... so I have a frame of reference, but my problem with these designs are :-
This is my second pusher project, following my YF-23 project :-

Here is a work-in-progress CAD model to show you where I'm at with it...

looking forward to the plans. I like the F35 over the F22 and your YF23 design was awsome. although I do think its a bit over my head. Is this going to be thrust vectoring?

Thanks for the positive comments
This one isn't gonna have thrust vectoring, but it could be modified to do so, It is however a test platform for a vtol version I'm planning to make.
I've completed the draft assembly of the 3d cad model and worked out how it will go together - see crude assembly guide attached
