Brisbane Flying 3rd July

Well, it was looking ****house earlier this week but the updated forecast is for upto 15knot SE winds Sunday afternoon. If it isnt raining and the wind holds this way count myself & Tai in for some Skua - Weasel action. See you there!

Speaking of Rosins (were we? I just assumed that's where Sunday flyining was planned) here are some pics, courtesy Google Earth. It's incredibly addictive!

Hey Dennis... is that a Zagi I see in the tree?

Google earth is pretty good, very similar to World Wind from NASA. I kinda forgot to mention where I was flying didnt I :-) Just assumed everyone would know Rosins Lookout @ Beechmont is where you go in SE!

Yeah I am going to Rosins Sunday. Thanks for the offer Mick, but I have a LARGE tree to climb there... well more to the point, my brother does! I hope the plane is still there. We have a professional riggers setup that we borrowed from a mate, with harnesses and rope etc so we should be able to get it down.

Hey Jason I can see the tree in that pic! I can't seem to spot the plane though

Oh yeah, could someone bring site charger (swallow etc) so we can hook it up to a car to try and charge Gary's Zagi so he can fly it on Sunday. Lets hope the rain did not get into it. I taped it fairly well, the only opening is the charge jack. Is Tai coming?

Yeah, Tai will be coming with the swallow. No jokes about Gary and Team America until Sunday afternoon though.
