HV T600 motor : Z50A-800 ? compares to 600l

Trying to find a fit for the t600 hv application. I want to use the 123 cells in preferably 10 cell bricks as they come but may have to goto 15 or 14 cells.

The z50 have been doing well in the 620 bladed applications (raptor50 conversions) and the t600 is swinging 600's and i understand is about the same weight or lighter.

I'm comparing kv's to see if i'm going to be able to gear it for desired headspeed.

Z50a-800 motor : kV: 780 for 10 cell applications

Align 600L has a kv of 1620 for 6 cell applications

780 kv x 10 cell lipo's (40v) i get : 31200 rpm
1620kv x 6 cell lipo (24) i get : 38880 rpm

I'm out 7680 rpm.

oz has been using the 1512(2y ?) neu motor wich has a kv of 1100 on 10 123 cells (which i plan on using).

Is this still gearable to work in the t-600 for 2000 rpm , looking for 3d machine that is as good or preferable better than a hyper50 raptor on 30% coolpower.

The Z power motors would surely keep the cost down as there alot less, i have a neu in my swift and it's a nice efficient motor but is alot more $$.

If you can get hold of some Mikado steel pinions (0.7) you can probably gear for almost any motor.

I use the Z-Power 50, KV:565 with an 18 tooth pinion (straight cut gear). Headspeed around 2050 - 2150 I think.

Using 10S FP EVO20"NF" 3700.

here is what im doing...im making 2 7 cell packs and mounting them infront like where the lipo pack is supposed to be...so that the packs will fit into the frame im mounting them diagonally. Im using the lipo tray to extend the front end so that i can get the packs more diagonal and so that tehy will fit..ill get pics up when im done however im still waiting for the zpower motors!

I'm not sure what gearing options there are out there for the t600.
I should be able to make up 7680 rpm on the motor shaft then ?

The logo pinions do have a nice selection though.

ozace ... if your running a 1400kv motor and 10 cell 123's on yor t600, what should i be using for voltage under load to compare to the 600L motor ? Or am i going to need more cells with the z50a-800 ?

Thanks for the help ,

Logo 14 pinions fit , so you should have no trouble with the 800kv motor and a 17t or 19t pinion (at a guess). I use 28v as a rough guide under load for the 10s pack.
