World Hobbies P 51

I have just traded for a World Hobbies giant scale P 51. Anyone flying one and what kind of characteristics does it have. It is powered by a MDS 2.18. I have never had an MDS, some say they are good some say bad. Any opinions on the engine.

hi,
I have a mds .68 and goes awesome, had a bit of trouble starting, but i found a small air leak around carb, the bolt that clamps it onto the engine was leaking air but fixed that and one flick it was away.never misses a beat know love it.
Like you i heard the rumours but bit the bullet and got one and real happy with it.
good luck. Bryan

Mds

I hope so, the engine has not even been broken in good yet and it has very good compression. I'm used to O.S., Supertigre, and YS engines.
