I have been VERY interested to see how this played out. I was quite dismayed when I sawt he thread had been locked. I would LOVE to know how close the plane was to the "expected" location given by Sentry.

When I'm off-shift, I'm going to go back through this thread, and determine exactly how Sentry was able to figure the location of the plane. Thus far, I've just skimmed the thread. OP, was the information Sentry used all "public" in this thread? Any PM's, etc?

not bad at all man considering... foam snapped at the edge of battery bay box going back to the side of the motor mount and the TBS box was ripped to shreds and out of the plane.. cameras are still fine.. could not find the video tx, must have ripped out after fail safe jerked it down or when it initially hit the tree... we stood around it shouting curse words for a good 5 minutes. Unbelievable, we walked right into it basically.. right where Sentry said it should be

i think the spars are all still in tact it's still pretty stiff. ill post some pics too.

I too was disappointed when I saw the thread was locked.

Glad you go your plane back!

My vote is it edit the video down to the important bits for this thread.

Glad you got it back.
So tell us about the hike. Did you just hike straight up to it or start from the ridgeline above
and walk down to it? Did you record the position with GPS so we can compare?

Hey man awesome! Very glad to see you reopened your thread and you got your plane back! Looking forward to the video. Some captions at least would be nice so we can know what you were thinking as the flight unfolds....

or small plane somewhere on the side of a mountain that is very hard to hike or walk around on

glad you got your plane back

.thinkmabout why you lost your plane and why

Next time set up plane that does not have problems

Eventually you will have basically officiant plane that does not break down

Or pilot error has experience that has enough experience not to loose plane

Blame it on yourself as you do as a man, and take the loss

Learn like a man and go on to other fpv experiences

Looking for fpv planes can be a waste of time

,this is an expensive hobby and well worth it to put efforts into future endeavours

Look for plane but don't go overboard and waste too much time or others time

Unless you like to loose planes and look for them all the time

Your problem is you push the limits and lost your plane

You know that and should learn from pushing limits

Don't be cry baby and wonder where your plane is if younpushnlimmitsmor have poor set up that don't dogmas you expect

You fly long range from mountain to mountain and should expect tomloosenplqne because of poor set up
