When will they release a turbine, and at what price?

I know one thing with all the complaints I have heard about Hobby King customer
service I would never buy a turbine from them.

even if they do , i dont think it will be a new turbine, it will be a re branded one maybe a jj-one with quality control raised i hope.

I hope Hobbyking do make a turbine and i hope that it is very cheap!

even if the quality was poor im sure it wouldnt stop people and it might lower the prices of the more expensive turbines!

I could see a possible use for a FOD screen on a larger DF unit.

Ben if HK does release a Turbine it will either be in the European & U.S.warhouses, HK has to choose a reliable brand and they will sell it 10-20% cheaper than anyone else. If HK ever offers a turbine they will offer jets to put them in as well, give HK 1-2 years.

Would you like to operate a turbine if the quality was poor? If anything it would show why the other brands cost a bit more.

Well, we all know that HK is known for lower prices than their competitors. If they launch a low price turbine, what will happen in the turbine market?

I guess that for instance ATJ and Kingtech will feel the pressure. Both these have contributed to lower the prices on the other high-end brands as Jetcat Behotec and others.

So a HK turbine will contribute to lower the prices even more

Would I use a HK turbine in a plane? Probably not, at least not before others have tested it and found it working as well as the other brands. I might get an ATJ or Kingtech at a lower price than what they sell at today.

and why there have the lowest price is bc there have a middle to deal with there everything in house p.s the guy that owns the company is not form china hes for Australia and based it in china and other spots just a fact there good company have have start like all company's ti would be nice to see the price

I hear this morning on a report on You tube from the guy at RC model reviews (dated July 11th) that HK will be soon selling their own Turbines at 60% less than a normal priced unit, he plans to have one soon and will do a video to show the setup etc.
Quality,backup, etc remains to be seen but if they can pull it off then you can be sure that they will be selling planes and accessories at the usual knock down prices to complement the product.
If this thing is any good and can be serviced near me then Whoo Hoo I am up for one!!

Yes for me also I have been out of turbines for a few years now because I am semi retired now and the prices were getting too much so now I hope it will be possible to get back in again as for me it is the biggest thrill, Cheers
