A little breezy today....10 to 12 mph. Tucan did not seem to be bothered with it
Maiden went perfectly, no trim needed. It actually rotated on its own when it arrived at the airspeed that it liked with a gentle scale-like climb!
I used a MasterAirscrew 11*7-3blade. Battery is a Zippy Compact 4S3700-35C, which weighs 410g. Plane was balanced per the instructions and control throws were set as suggested. Used -30 expo (Futaba) and left the rates on high.
Flies like its on rails. The EPF retracts worked flawlessly. Very happy with this Tucan.
I'm planning to remove the stock decals this winter and refinish in a scale livery...just have not decided on which one! I primarilly utilized to stock decoration for visibility concerns.
