Advice on charging TX

I have a Sanwa RD 6000 Super tx with a 9.6 600mah ni-cad batt I have just bourght a 9.6 1600ma NiMh batt,I have read that I can use the standard TX charger to charge it with it says the formula for charging is add 20% to the capacity of the pack so that would be 1920 I think then divide by the charger output which is 75ma=25.6 hours any one know if this is ok or do I need to buy a special charger

If you don't mind the wait - as long as the voltage is the same - it will charge with your "wall wart" charger.

I personnaly keep a NiCd/NiMH charger around to charge my hi-cap TX pack at a 1c rate. You can get the charger leads on-line or your LHS may have 'em
