Yes.
Or it will strip out when you tighten it. When you tighten the nut, dont put the wrench in the normal position, put it in-line with the plane, yet still on the nut so you can't get optimal leverage. That way you won't overtighten it. |

Next time use a SMALL amount of Loctite, and either use a "nut driver" or, as noted instead of putting the wrench on at 90 degrees (perpendicular) to the shaft, put it straight on from the front, and just use your fingers, not your arm to tighten the nut.

Wingbreaker I was just thinking you could put an extra washer or two behind your prop to be able to keep using that adapter for a while.
