The civil law system and the courts have been in operation for centuries and essentially oversee commerce and commercial transactions. That ought to be common knowledge even if t isn't explicitly tort.

Wait, government regulates business? The horror! Corporations would never do anything wrong. "The market" would take care of that.

The important definition, with regards to what constitutes an abortion, is that of pregnancy, which, at the moment for the purposes of determination of the legal status of emergency contraception is defined as being the time of implantation of the fertilised egg. That can be several days after fertilisation of the egg.

As has been pointed out though, it's a moot point, since the emergency contraceptive pill also works by preventing fertilisation of the egg in the first place.
Like a child in the womb progresses at a ~9 month rate? I believe it's a good analogy.

You attempted to use the analogy to explain the instantaneous nature of fertilization and chemical reactions are a poor analogy for that.

This makes interesting reading.

It appears many fertilized eggs either fail to implant, or get rejected after implantation.
Does this mean God is an abortionist?
If so, why are the Pro-life folk not demonstrating outside Churches?
