Have just a quick question, does someone have full sheet plans for this plane? Also, dont you feel that the fuselage is too narrow?

Where is Didier?
I'd like to resurrect this plan in the Scratch built forum.

No problem to make it thicker with rounded surfaces

I don't know if this is full size or not. See post #19

These look really well made and great fun!

Im *attempting* to build one, but im new to all this and need a little help.. This is a really silly question, but how do you keep the moving parts held on so they pivot (elevators etc).. do you just use sticky tape?

Its things like this I will struggle with. I then need to find some radio kit off ebay and need a few servos to go with it etc.

Also, can i use "all purpose wood glue" for sticking balsa to deplon? If not I have all purpose hot glue, but it looks heavy thick and messy...

Is it a case if "stick to the design as much as possible, but tweak it if you want" and it will probably still fly?

Thanks!

My Funtana Mini

I recently finished building my Funtana Mini and I am really pleased with how it turned out.

It has a JustGoFly U2212-15 (400 size 140W 940Kv) brushless outrunner and a Dynam 18Amp ESC in it.

I have been flying it with an 1800 mAh 3S Lipo. Performance is fantastic. I would like to get a smaller, lighter 3S lipo to further improve performance.

This is a great design. I had a lot of fun building it and am really enjoying flying it. Thanks Didier!

Hi everybody!

I want to show you next Funtana - from Poland this time.

(sorry, it's very old photo, from winter.)

Equipment:

4x 9g servo (HXT900)
Emax 2822 with 10x4,7 propeller
Turnigy plush 25A ESC
Turnigy 8ch receiver (from Turnigy 9X v2).

Weight: 410g. It flys GREAT!

To constructor: Well done!

Hey!
I'd like to share with you the plans that were created at home.
Wing Span 1000mm.
All elements of the "Depron" 6mm, 6mm carbon tube spar.
I hope that these few changes will help build the model.
A short film as it happens
