Help!
Hurricane cowl

I know this is a real long shot, but does anybody know of the whereabouts of a fibreglass cowl for the Aerodrome Models Hawker Hurricane?
I've got the plans and was wondering about the cowl for it, if not I'm going to have to hack one out of wood.

Did a quick check but I didn't see one there. Might have to email them I guess.

What scale is your Hurricane ?, as there may be other manufacturers of a Hurricane that produce a cowl that could be adapted.

Gotta check but I think it's 62" span. Not a bad set of plans, fairly scale for a sport scale. Tail feathers a little bigger than scale but if I want true scale, I'll finish my Brian Taylor Hurricane!

Aerodrome Models? I didn't know they did anything as modern as a Hurricane. Sure you don't mean the Balsacraft Hurricane?

Balsacraft Hurricane, 46" span, Aerodrome Models Hurricane, 62" span. They are no longer in business.

Aerodrome Hurricane

I remember these kits, never had one but they were highly regarded as I recall. The company has been out of business for years but one of the former owners may be able to help: Dick Watz (watz7@aol.com). I got this information from the "other site" so please don't hold me to its accuracy, and it is probably a long shot but worth a try. Hope this helps. I have an old IMP Hurricane that is on my to-do list. One of the best WWII aircraft.
