I am very impressed by your design; I was curious if this is intended for free-flight or if it was designed for UM micro rx's?
Your bipe looks fantastic; congrats! Have you any in flight footage ?

Very cool! Sorry to hear about the trim flight...
I have flown micros for years, but they have admittedly become quite stale. Seeing a model such as yours is quite refreshing. Recently, my interest has grown in micro conversions to rc flight. Keep up the great work. Bradley |

It is beautiful!
Can you source micro electronics for something like that if you were in the states? Let me know if I can help

Thanks for the compliments guys!
Bradley I sure will keep you in mind when I decide to strap in some RC gear! Not on this one though, it’s too fragile for RC! I have an all sheet Cessna 140 free flight model in progress which has fairly low wing loading and better crash resistance; looks like a good candidate. Al thanks for reading my build log thread. I doubt I could convince you to give a free flight rubber powered model a try after seeing your and bsbauman’s hangar, you are RC freaks! ![]() Enjoy the rest of the festive season and happy building! |

![]() ...but just cause we love RC, do not be fooled into thinking we are not interested in FF, CL, or other areas of modeling as well ![]() It is nowhere near the scale of yours, but I have just completed my first RC conversion of a static, Guilliows micro F-15. To me, this thing is tiny! It uses elevons for control and for power it uses twin (2) 30mm edf fan units... I hope to maiden before the end of the month. It is all ready to fly, but I have to send my 11x off for repairs this week to fix a broken click-wheel. The other micro on my table keeps getting pushed to the side, but I do think it is one of the more unique micro offerings on the market. It is a scaled out micro DH-2 running on a PZ motor and brick with 4-channels. This plane has 13 inch wings and over 40 feet of carbon fiber rods and flying wires. All control surfaces are pull pull. On the opposite end of the workshop, I have a giant scale P-47 that will end up weighing in at 30lbs wet ![]()

Hi Bradley,
Thanks for sharing your models! the past few days I have not been feeling well, so that sure has lifted my mood! the fan on the F-15 is insane I have never seen such a small ducted fan before, I can imagine one of those in an F-86 sabre I will check out your blog for any progress ![]() Cheers Mike |
