Adding a gas proof matte finish to mylar covering
I picked up an ARF for a decent price during recent sales. The problem is that it has a high gloss finish on a WWI fighter.
I'm looking to add a clear matte finish that will be gasoline proof. In the past, when I painted iron on covering I would abraise the surface with 400 grit. I've only used that with opaque colors, and can't see that working for a clear. Does anybody have a suggestion on what to use? Here is a link to the bird I want to paint. http://www.maxfordusa.com/nieuport-28ep40arf-1.aspx |
