Do a search for a Robinson Racing Mod 0.4, 64 pitch pinion. That one should have a bore of 3.17mm and I think 16 teeth.

I'm slowly getting back into my helis since things are finally settling down after the move. I'd like to get a plane at some point too, they look like fun as well.

Going pretty good, learning a new language and making new friends (some of which don't speak English so its all German...) The biggest downside is that I can't just go out behind my house to fly my helis anymore like I use to. Good thing I had that to learn on, cause sometimes Id head out, smash my heli immediately, then go right back in I imagine if I had to drive somewhere and then did that, it would have been that much more frustrating!

So do u have any good suggestions for which plane would be a good beginner, with the aileron controls?

This is a 'shout out' to Nav about the v400 he sold to me.

I got it today and i'm amazed by the neatness of the electronics install. It almost as neat as the way you packed everything into the box. I can tell your a very clean and percise builder, unlike myself when good enough will do. Thank you for the stuff, and the model of how my future wireing should be.

I wont get a chance to work on much this weekend, but no school for a couple weeks will give me lots of time to sort things out.

I tried runing up stock V400D02. All was going well then hit end of bed. Broke plastic mounts that hold top section of heli servos/ motor etc. . Before I could disconect battery sounded like something is running.

Update, its not tail motor but one sevo is runing as I must have stripped gears. If heli pointed foward it would be rear left servo. Is Futaba 3114 a drop in fit ? Or is Hi-Tech 5055 ok without having to reverse it. ? What a bummer as heli looked good. I don't want crappy Stock servos as I hear this is very common problem. Master c/p has same problem. Are they the same ?? Wow sells them but as three pack. Are thet all the same ?? sorry but kind up upset such a minor hit put this out of commision.

No, I don't think so. The master CP servos cycle backwards to the V400.
They are coming out with a metal gear servo for the V400 similar to the Master CP. I just have mine shipped for the master today from Hobbyone.

Thank you for reply. How about Hi-tech 5055's for V400D02 ? I know for Master you need programer as they are reversed but V400 is reversed so it should be good ? I have both the Master c/p and V400D02. If these stock sevos strip this easy, they gotta go. I have no intent of 3D but like to be able to fly them and take a little less than perfect flying.

Check Kdeans blog. He has detailed instructions on the 5055 install.
As I am grounded outside now because of cold weather, usually - 10 high, I think I'll just wait for the new Walker Metal gear servos.
