New to gas r/c having some problems


I just picked up a tamiya xbg car but i think i messed up all the settings....and i cant start the car....ive tried everything and i cant get it to start...

anybody can help a newbie here?? what should i do to get it started ...ive tried everything

any help would be appreciated...

i just dont want to spend all this money to have a car that doesnt start

If you've messed about with the needle settings you will have to return them to base settings then tune from there.

Is it brand new ? if so then you shouldnt really adjust any needles untill its broke in (except perhaps the Idle to keep it running)

There should info in the manual or the Tamiya site that will tell you what the base settings are.

Nitro RC Tuning 1 (4 min 46 sec)
this is a great video on how to tune the engine which will be the same procedure for any engine not just the Savage hes using.

Thanks danny - that vid is kinda helpful for me.

I don't know what base settings mean so i may just be repeating danny.

Try putting the needles back to how it was when you started.

Reset the settings to the original settings and that will do it
