Looks nice. I always liked the 196 boat because of the camo design. What did you use in the aft gun position? It looks like a 20mm Oerlikon with a pair of coax M2 .50 cal's. And is the boat based on the 1:20 scale Elco's available?

Boater Dave:

It is a 20 mm with twin 50 cals on both sides. Copied from PT 525. The kit is a Dumas 1/20 PT boat. Only the boat's paint scheme is patterned after the 196, the rest of the PT is from his boat imagination (aka left over parts since this is his last PT build)

Well....my brother finished the PT-196...but as I mentioned before, this was to be his fun build PT...so he used a pirate theme. Remember...this is his 6th build and I guess he just had a bunch of left over parts from previous build and just wanted to use his remaining inventory and have some fun. He is still working on the finishing the crew.
