Mine has an extreme nose done angle for the motor. I could probably fax or e mail a copy of the plan next week.

I found the plans.

You can have them, or a scan of the motor mount area.

If you want the plans, I'll check on postage and a proper envelope and you can pp the same.

My suggestion is priority, small flat rate and I'll fold em up.

Note the extreme angle and short can needed to avoid the canopy latch.

Last time I went to Sarasota was about 1959. The road ahead is might short, so I don't think I'll be back.

I'm about to order this glider after searching the world (web) for a Graupner Biene with little success.

This looks about as close to my old Biene as I can find.

I haven't built or covered a wing for years.

Should be fun.

Any tips appreciated.

Cheers

The English instructions are often ambiguous. Study every part of the plans before you commit to anything, especially the speed brakes.

Buy lots of wet/ dry sandpaper.

Learn appropriate German swear words.

Enjoy the end result.

What JohnathanSwift said. The english instructions are horrible. I could have used some good German swear words myself. My wing was actually in the trash at one point. LOL. When U get it if U have any questions just ask. Will be happy to help. And be VERY careful with the tail wood. VERY brittle. I broke mine just dry fitting it together. Gonna add a sheet of 1/8" balsa to the horizontal just because...

Thanks guys

shall take heed.

If it flys anything like my Biene I will be happy.

It looks like the exact same plane just a tad bigger. Tail surfaces look like they were taken from the same plan.

Only difference i can see is that the Biene was 1600m and no flaps.
