Hangar 9 Alpha 40 ARF

I have a question about the E-Power suggestion given by Hangar 9 for this airplane. This is a 40 size trainer that utilizes the Evolution 46 glow motor, however, it suggests only a E-Flite 25 as electric conversion???

I have an E-Flite 46 looking for a home and figured that would be the best match. Am I misunderstanding something here or is this a type-o on Hangar 9's end???? Why wouldn't one want to go with the 46 electric here???

I'd go with a 46. A 25 would probably be pretty lazy with a 6 pound plane and with that big wing.

Hi Greg,
I just bought an Alpha 40 to convert to electric power. Here's my project so far.....the motor I'm using is an Exceed Rocket 3520 http://www.hobbypartz.com/86mc302-3520-1050kv.html and will start with an 11x7 prop on 4400 3s (two 2200 3s in parallel). I cut a battery hatch just in front of the canopy decal, just aft of the orig firewall, my new firewall is glued to and screwed to the nose . I am designing some diagonal braces to fit behind it into the orig firewall. Might over kill though

I'm hoping for a little better than "trainer" type flight, but not vertical speed...LOL.
