Zisch plans include a "cable tie launcher" suitable also for simple water rockets.
Will post build pics and descriptions here if desired.

What fun!
We need to find someone who would volunteer to translate the drawing notes into English (and Arabic, to be politically correct ;-)

This was a recycled clark Y eps wing with polyhedral, 80cm span, Rudder elevator control with Spektrum Ar 6400 brick. To be honest, it was not a very good flyer (poor directional control), so we did not continue flying it.

starting the build

Zisch 3 is a very simple build. The more difficult part is the launch tube. You find very good and helpful instructions for cable tie water rocket launchers here :
http://www.aircommandrockets.com/construction_9.htm
and here:
http://www.uswaterrockets.com/constr...r/tutorial.htm

My version is based on them but a bit more simple.
I use only four cable ties and velcro tape as locking device.

Thomas, would you be so kind as to show a picture of the bottom of the plane? Thanks.

That's great! It's very tempting.
Now I'll have to figure out what valve to use and how.
