specialy alishanmao. Nice Vids and Reviews of the New Quadros from Lotus Rc. Please make some Pics from underneath the T580 P+ , i Ma interesting how they make the Snap In for the folding Arms. Is this possible ?
And by the Way any News about the Two Props Heli you have Tested.

are they the same?

I just got my new T580P+. The motors are not the same as those at HK. The ones at HK have bigger middle bearings, and the ones on my new T580P+ do not have prop savers.

Haidar where did you get yours? LotusRC hasent replied to my emails and neither has alishanmao under the video comments.

I just got mine 1 day ago. These are what i encountered today:
1. It came with 14 size props! No instruction manual, parts completely built up
except for the props, camera mount and landing skids which i had to fix up
myself.
2. The low voltage warning beeper was dangling loosely.
3. Test fly with a lumix TZ7 camera (200gm) on the camera mount, it could carry with no problem.
4. I used a 2600mah 3S lipo.
5. I only did a test fly of 3 minutes.
6. The shutter servo was too low so i adjusted the height for the servo and the
servo arm.
7. As i was adjusting the servo arm travel, smoke came out from the
board. I yanked the lipo off and found out one of the ESC chip fried.
8. Besides that, the case that came with it shows sign of used.
9. The props looks like they were used too.

Please answere my question above Im trying to get a hold of one but get no replies. Also please take a close up photo of the arms where it clips into place. How does it work?

This is how it looks like underneath. You have to press the 2 buttons to get the arm in position then release.

Thanks does it work well enough? Is there any play/movement in the arms when locked into place?

Yes, they lock very well no free play at all. The dome has a velvety feel to it now.
Someone once said some things looks good from afar but far from good! This might be it!

What is the diameter of the central plate shown in that photo?

The central housing is the same dimension as the first model.
Sorry i am in no mood to complement this quad anymore till i solve my problems with it.

Im only interested in the frame so is it the same?

im sorry ya t580 messed itself up bruv i thought they would of sorted out the electronics for the new lot of t580s they released but i guess it really is just how i said it was ie brand new dress same old woman

want to kknow the absolute best way to get that bird up in the air again? DUMP THOSE ELECTRONICS and put in a real flight controller of your choice with real esc's and never worry about failed electronics AGAIN!!!

most of the people who were dead against CHANGING ANYTHING back in the day soon started adding multiwii and/or openpilot copter control boards to the t580 with cheap NORMAL esc's or after waiting months for replacement arms and kicking off because i bodge repaired my arms suddenly and quietly used alu or other material arms lol out of the original 25 sent out for free i would happily stake money on a gamble that more than 50% dont have 100% original parts anymore and IF and they are 100% original no mods at all YOU WONT HAVE SEEN A VIDEO OF THEM FLYING IN MONTHS! just check the youtube and vimeo accounts of the 25 testers to see what im talking about!

but back to getting you flying H, hows your soldering skills? if you have none i would maybe think about getting that t580 packed up to be sent back for a replacement! if you have any video footage to upload great upload it so they can see/hear what happened and that should help
