Vince TY for your intrest in the X52. There are no plans available to build. At the moment the X52 is only being sold to club members since its locally built here .www.prmyc.com. Documentation has been submitted to AMYA for a OneDesignClass when and if its approved we hope to be making them available to folks like you. Again TY for your intrest. Keep checking back.

Dick the reason why the X52 are only being sold to club members is because these boats are not mass product (at the moment) they are made one X52 at a time, and YES we want these X52 to be a National Class because the X52 is a great sailing boat and alot of interest has been shown. We already have the 20 boats that AMYA requires for a Class certification. As we speak the boat maker and club members are looking into many options on getting the X52 mass product. So that all those Captains that have shown interest can sail a X52. www.prmyc.com

Really good to see some other guys in the Caribbean sailing, first thing that comes to mind is everybody has a big broad smile so you're having lots of fun your location looks really good too.Sailing is fairly close as everyone is sailing the same thing. Not to rain on your party but the boats look slow for a big 52 inch boat however they look pretty, main thing is you guys are having a ball.
These boats are 50 inches long and as you can see they are much faster. |

m.g.: we are still waiting for a reply from AMYA, I guess it takes much longer then we had expected TY for asking will keep updating.
The Tug: NP you are not raining on our party. X52 are fast mayb the long distant videos doesnt do then any justice and yes we are having a GREAT time sailing. dobydog6507: New theory..more wind=more speed! TY for making that observation. Hahahaha |

with all of the current classes and boat types out there, the "M" continues to be the earliest and continuing class to be in to be competitive and fast. Multihulls, of course, have their own standards and speeds, and with the "M" and 10R allow one to build what "he" thinks will be fast. Thus there really isn't a "Blind Man's Land" - only blind men who fail to recognize what is fast, unique and can be built at home!
