Range of spektrum ar6100e
I am looking to buy my first plane and I have a spare 'spektrum ar6100e' RX. What is the range of the receiver and would it work in these kind of planes.
I believe the RX range is like a dome, 500 ft radius with (as far as you can see) straight up. I don't expect to fly these planes very high but I would like to fly them high for camera work.
How does the range check work with the DX6i, in range check mode, does 1 foot equate to 10meter or something ?
How do I know that the ar6100e won't be out of range ?
p.s I would also like to use the same rx in a '' Skipper All Terrain Airplane EPO 700mm I don't think that will fly too far away from me, it's not that big.
