2.6m Jamara Ventus HX2 cog
Does anyone know what the correct centre of gravity is for the 2.6m Jamara Ventus HX2?
I have as yet to maiden it and I'm told that these can be a nightmare to fly.

If there is a spar or a wing rod, use that as your starting point.
If you can hand throw it, preferably over tall grass, that would be good. It should go something like this video.

If you can't hand throw it because you can't get a good enough grip then do it with 1/3 throttle. If it goes OK take it up. If it is hard to control, slowly power off and land it. Give yourself a LOT of room.
If it tends to sag at the tail, it is probably tail heavy, don't try to fly it.

Thanks for the edifying information and help you've provided.
I finally managed to get the information via a very circuitous route from an Italian gentleman working in Germany.
For future reference I can now announce that the CG for the non powered version of the Jamara Ventus HX2 is 42-46mm back from the root leading edge.
All I need now is some decent weather and plenty of lift in order to fly it from our local slope whilst praying that it doesn't tip stall and spiral to earth.
