For Sale
.9g Ultra Micro Retractable landing gear

I redesigned my original retracts to make them a little more accurate. They still weigh less than a gram and will fit micro planes along the lines of the Parkzone UM warbirds. Still hand cut from 1/32" ply and built one at a time.

Dimensions for the mechanism only: Gear Up Gear down
Length: 13.1mm 9.75mm
Height: 7.25mm 11.0mm
Width: 7.75mm 7.75mm
Weight with 5" .032" steel strut: 0.95g

RCG'er milesperpound's P-51 with the V.1 micro retracts (posts 35 and 38)

I'm selling them for $5 each, plus $2 shipped First Class USPS in the US, $3 international (note, if you order more than 10 the shipping may be different since it's on a weight basis). Shoot me a PM if you're interested. Also, if you have something you're willing to trade (micro plane gear, radio gear, ect) I am willing to consider it.

No, you will need a 6 channel radio to have control over the correct servo output on the AR6400.

Are these designed in a way so that you can activate them with a single servo? Also, are you still selling them?

You can use just a single servo, it's abit more difficult though. I am going to upload a video of them on my UMX Spitfire on to the most recent thread in a few days once I have more laser cut.

They would work on the micro T-28, yes. I would recommend using 2 servos, one for the main gear, and one for the nose gear (I also have a steerable unit for the nose gear, weighs 1.3g) just to keep it much more simple.

The servos I got from Hobbyking for something like $4 each, plus shipping (shipping takes a while so I'd either wait untill I was ordering some other things too, or order a few servos and some batteries). I'd also recommend the HK5330 servos, they have much more torque and only weigh 1.9g and are around $5-$6.

Cool, awaiting vid. I am hoping to do my UM P-51 with a single linear spektrum servo.
