Will the tarot gimbal work on an airplane? I have found that it can be inverted (sensor too), just not sure if anyone has flown it at 30-40MPH and it do ok?

Its about as aerodynamic as a Brick. I seriously doubt the gimbal motors could over come the winds at those speeds.

I just got my gopro video connector but it was bent - is it ok to rebend it back to place or return it?

muscleflex: Just try it, it might be fine. You can always send it back later.

Mine was bent, not as bad but I was able to bend it back. If it breaks send the pics to the vendor for replacement.

Ugh. The pins inside are SUPER delicate. My Tarot cable lasted less than a week before the USB pins gave out I had to get a USB cable with a metal jacket at the plug.

I would not use that cable. If you are unlucky i might short out costing a lot more to fix then a new cable.

If it looks like the pins might be touching you can always check the continuity of the leads.

That's pretty tough with a connector that small: the pins are tiny, it's a 10-pin so there are pins bent on the unexposed side as well, and I think 7 out of the 10 of those pins are intended to be NC and one of the remaining ones has a resistor to ground. When mine failed I wasn't really able to get in there and test anything. I had to shine a bright light into the plug and see one of the pins had crunched all the way into the back.

ElGuano: Thanks for that info, those things are pretty small. They are supposed to be designed for 1000 of cycles. Of course, we are talking Chinese manufacturers, so who knows.
I did smoke a Gopro (but it still works), with 12v (3S) once. I smelled it before I saw it, and unplugged quick. Got my FPV Camera (12v) and GoPro (5v) leads reversed.

It's the one that retains the USB plug for the GoPro. It screws into the Tarot GoPro mount. Looks like it is the one shown a few posts back in the poly bag. I think it could be M2 x 5 but I would like someone to confirm this before I order some.
