Looks really cool Dave.

And, for the record, motorcycles are not evil. They may be possessed, but, they are not evil

Dirt bikes aren't evil, it's the trees. Those suckers will jump right out in front of you when you least expect it...

Yes, the trees are evil. Spent a while this afternoon dodging them.

The amazing thing when I think about it is the insane number of unfinished projects I can have at any given time. Maybe thats the next million post thread, " How many unfinished projects do you have?"

I would really like to get motivated to finish this as I'm curious as to how it will fly. Missing only the wing covering and windshield everything weighs under 5 oz. Should be a real floater.

Wow, 5 oz is really light Dave. She is beautiful as usual and I can't wait to see her all finished up with trim colors. Please keep us informed as to when you finish her up.

Yours is a lot less "unfinished" than mine, which is still in the box. Should finally get my shop together soon, though, as we are just finishing my wife's long awaited remodeling of the laundry area in the garage, and I come next. But your one eight fiver will come first! Don't even ask about the rest of the list of unfinished projects!

Look forward to seeing it fly! I'm waiting to start my Herr 185 kit. Still have a baby ace and champ to finish before I start.

Great looking plane

Hello
What an Amazing plane. I have followed this thread for some time now, and can't wait to see more updates on the project. I have started the build of your cessna 182 from your plans have finished tailfeathers and fuselage almost ready for covering. I enjoy every minute of the build, the parts go together like a dream. Will There be plans or a kit avalable of the cessna185 as well?
Best regards from

Beautiful !

Very nice work, DBlum.

I own a 1979 C185F and have lots of hours in 185's - wonderful airplane. I would also be very interested in plans and a kit.
