Question
Micro coax stuck in tree

My 8yr old nephew got a bit excited and landed one of my old coax helis in a tree. About 25ft in the air at the end of long branch.

Any suggestions for retrieving it? First time retrieval for me!

I was thinking of tying some string to a nut and using a slingshot. My copter is stuck in a tree in town, a few feet from a school, so no shotguns.

Go see an Angler and borrow His/Her pole.
A small pole is around 9 metres long, but they go up to around 14 Metres too.

For the Win!!!

Phil,

Just grab yourself a couple sticks of 20' 1/2" sced 40 PVC pipe from your local hardware store and you'll be good to go. It's cheap and it will keep you from getting shocked if near power lines.

I got lucky, a big storm came through on Saturday and knocked it out of the tree. Dried out OK
