Charging Ni-MH 4.8V 1/3AA 280 mAh ??
The GWS truck came today! So, I've got a new battery pack for my HLG.
I've been using my SuperSmart/Dymond charger on Nicads only (auto-mode)
and I'm at a loss when it comes to Ni-MH packs.
The new pack is, Ni-MH 4.8V 1/3AA 280 mAh (4 cells Teig).
I set the charger manual mode for 0.3 A, 300 mAh, 4 cells & Ni-MH.
With a discharge rate of 0.5A. (seems a little high to me).
I've cycled the pack up & down, and it doesn't seem to get
warm at all (Takes around an hour to charge). The mAh
output seems okay. Am I doing this right?
What would happen If I forget and accidentally use Auto(Nicad) mode?
Open to suggestions.
