Yeah, we used to have a really good spot that we lost last year. Try Whizin's in Agoura Hills between Chesboro and Kanan rd. south of the 101. Kinda rocky, good for foamies. Here's a link with a KMZ file.

I've flown Piuma on a N or NE. The flying was great, but the landing is kinda scary, as the LZ backs up to a huge cliff over Malibu Canyon.

Thanks for the info guys. I did drive by Whizins during lunch today and the direction was off. Looks like easy access though when the direction is good.
Don't laugh but I ended up going to Kanan and the direction was hitting the NE ridge a little better. Did a little light DS with my moth. If I had better skills it would have had good speed. I think I have all of the main wind directions covered now. Have a great weekend! -- John |
