I am ordering a SOLO PRO II RTF I am wondering which extra batteries and charger if needed to get?

Also which initial extra parts should i have around that can break easily?(i hear the landing gear is weak is there aftermarket ones that are stronger?)

If you ask for parts, I break 1 x tail blade only. Though I break landing skid but I glued it back.

Here is what I stock parts for SoloPro II,
1. main balde
2. tail blade
3. 2 x main motor
4. 2 x tail motor
5. 1 x landing gear (most of time, you fix broken skid by glue)

for beginner, I suggest the following too.
6. main shaft
7. rotor head
8. swashplate

However, clubheli has SoloPro II EZ bind (without tx) at $50.00, so it's not bad idea to get EZ bind one instead of getting individual parts. At least, you have spare heli to fly in case first broke.

The Nine Eagles Wall Charger works well, and with a little modification to the case, you could also use the Trex100s charger, which can also be powered through USB.

My favorite all round battery is the Hobby King OEM 120 mAh "Replacement" battery. Flight times of over 6 minutes, with good climbing power, and these batteries last over 100 cycles or more.

As for the landing gear, it seems some batches are indeed weak, while others are indestructible. If you want to be sure of a crash proof landing gear, nothing can beat the Xtreme one. It adds some weight, but I've yet to hear someone break it during flight.

so the extreme blades, swashplate and flybar make a differece?
i assume extreme blades will have less flex, same with flybar .
i guess if im gonna get a extra rotorhead i might aswell get the extreme so it doesnt break or will it make all the other peices break instead?

I agree with SoloPro (with a name like that can you really argue with him?) regarding the hk oem 120mahs. They are great. I get at least 6min and excellent power. Many cycles in now and they are still going strong.

The Turnigy 130 has been pretty good so far for me. I think they are $1 each at HK.

If you want to buy extra tail motors, it's better to buy the whole tail. First they broke before the engine was worn out, now they wear out before the tail breaks.

My spare parts kit has:
Main shaft
Main engine
Gear
Tails
Landing skids
Tail rotor

My flying space is tight so the tails go quick.

When I get my hot glue gun I'm going to reinforce the tail boom where it goes into the main frame. I've had breaks occur there several times.

I tried to solve this by putting a piece of cf inside the tailboom. I used old taolbooms foor that. Works quite well so far.

Regardless if you're a beginner or not I recommend the followings. Way I see things, you will always definitely need more parts. Better to have plenty in stock so you don't have to wait weeks for the parts to come in. Local hobby shops charge too much.

1. At minimum, double of tail boom, tail blade, main blade, main shaft, main gear, linkage and rods, landing gear.
2. Landing gear you might want to have 4 around unless you're very good at landing. The landing gear is very fragile. You might want to check out www.iknosolopro.weebly.com. Good stuff from this link.
3. Because of the cost (affordable) get you at least 3 sets of linkage and rods.
4. Definitely if you want to have fun get yourself at least 4 batteries.
5. A must have is the dual battery charger for 14 bucks. Unless you want to drain your transmitter you want this bad boy charger. Trust me on this.

This bird is very sturdy to a certain point. Things will break. Let just say I've crashed my bird so many times but still with parts have it flying within minutes.
