Sukhoi T-50 Pak Fa with foam cut fuselage

Finally I got to start with this model I have had in my mind for the last year or so.
First I thought about doing it the Depron style. But opted for a more realistic look with foam cut fuselage and a Depron wing.

It's my winter project so I have no rush.

There are some really nice looking ones already out there so this is just another variant.

Updated plans

The plans are coming together and some things have been altered. Among them the wingspan is extended by 60 mm compared to a true scale to give a lower wing load.

Half fuselage ready

After some cutting the fuselage is coming together.
The surface is not perfect since I don't have any CNC cutter. But the most important thing is to follow the templates for each section so critical points are met at the same time or the fuselages form will be wrong.

Same pictures of the intake. That is not an easy part since it is twisted slightly.
The pictures shows part of them in place.
The hard part is the inner side that has to be hard twisted to align with the fuselage side.

The fuselage is roughly sanded to get rid of the lines from hot wire cutting. I don't have an CNC cutter which would be preferable.
I also just started laying down some filler. After that a quick sanding. It must be covered with fiberglass and epoxy any way so the smallest scratches will be taken care of in that step.
