How to glue canopy to fuse

Has anybody posted a 'how to' for glueing a clear plastic canopy to a fuse ? For example, how do you glue a canopy for a Kwik Fli to the fuse without getting glue everywhere and so there is a seamless transition from the canopy to the fuse?

We use canopy cement. dries clear and cleans up with water, then add a trim strip of covering.

Before and after:

We use it to glue in servos in the foam planes.

On some we use silk pins to look like rivets.

I have been using E6000 for quite some time now with good luck. Originally, I was applying it wet and letting the canopy cure in place. Lately, I have been applying it to both surfaces and joining them like a triditional rubber cement. Until it is fully cured, any excess can be rolled off with your fingers after it gets tacky. I haven't had any issues with fuel, but I'm not positive that it is fuel proof.

E6000 is absolutely remarkable. 19 years ago, my (then new) wife and I bought our first home. We didn't like the cheap house numbers the builder put on, so I got a nice power coated frame and ceramic tile numbers at Home Depot. Only problem....how to fasten them to the stucco exterior? Hey, how about E6000! So, I got a tube, glued the tiles into the frame, and glued the frame to the stucco. We are long since gone from that house, but last summer we drove by, and it's still there. And this is in Las Vegas, where it's about a billion degrees in the summer, and can dip below freezing in the winter.

Sorry to drift way off topic here, but if anyone has any doubts as to E6000's holding power, well, there you go.

Thanks for the photos but I am looking for a seamless transition from the fuse to the canopy.
